Jude turned two months old on Sunday, April 14, 2009. On Monday, I took him to see Dr.Rohman. He weighed 11 lbs. and 9 oz. (50 percentile), was 22 1/4 inches long (25 percentile), and his head measured 38 1/2 cm (25 percentile). He is getting so big. (His hair is growing, too, and we know this because his mohawk falls over now. Poor Wade! He works so hard on Jude's hair. It cracks me up!) Everything was well. He is growing bigger and stronger everyday. After the nurse measured and weighed him and Dr. Rohman checked him, the nurse gave him two shots. He was so good! He only cried for a second while he was getting the shots. After they were over and he had two big, blue band-aids on his leg, he went to sleep. He slept for the rest of the day. Wade and I were sad to see those band-aids on his legs. You spend the whole time trying to protect him and keep him safe, but you take him to the doctor to get shots. We felt horrible, but we know it is better in the long run!
He is really starting to smile now. If Wade and I are silly enough, we can even get him to do this high-pitched kind of squeal. It's his laugh. Its so cute and makes us laugh. Wade caught him smiling on video. I am going to try and post it along with some two month pictures.
